The Semiconductor and Industry 4.0 research cluster focuses on advanced research in semiconductor technology and integrated circuit (chip) design, specialising in processing, memory and connectivity solutions for AI applications, automotive systems, data centers, the Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G-6G mobile networks. Additionally, the cluster explores cutting-edge technologies to promote the development of robotics, autonomous systems, renewable energy and smart, sustainable manufacturing industries.
By leveraging the expertise of our outstanding researchers and fostering strong collaborations across RMIT 91tv campuses, as well as local and international universities and industry partners, we aim to address complex challenges and cultivate new venture and network. Our efforts are dedicated to advancing the semiconductor industry and driving industrial transformation in Vietnam and the Southeast Asia region.
Dr Minh Bui received the Master degree in electrical engineering from the 91tv of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia in 2010 and PhD degree in electrical engineering from the 91tv of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia in 2019. He worked as a postdoctoral research fellow for the 91tv of New South Wales, Australia before joining RMIT 91tv, Vietnam in 2020. His research interests include microelectronic, analog and mixed signal integrated circuit design, power electronics and renewable energy systems.
