Cybersecurity Assurance – Zero Trust Approach

The ‘human factor’ has been recognised as the weakest link in creating safe and secure digital environments – but human intuition may also be the solution to thwarting many cyber threats. Every software or security monitoring system requires human interpretation of alerts. Technical measures have been effective and robust in preventing cyber risks from information security breaches. However, research also shows that a majority of organisational security incidents are directly or indirectly caused by employees who violate or neglect the information policies of their organisation, thus, employee compliance choices are critical to organisational security. Certainly, this challenge requires more than technical measurements to overcome.

Acknowledging this challenge, in this event RMIT Vietnam in collaboration with world-class security experts, professionals and government official from Australia and Vietnam will share real-life security lessons and the complex landscape of the ever-changing cybersecurity threats. The experts will reveal a number of human psychology traits that can be taken advantage of by seasonal and professional hackers alike.

You will also have the opportunity to witness hand-on demonstration of cybersecurity attacks and broaden your knowledge of the national and global security prospects during our Q&A panel.

The event will also witness the Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony between RMIT Vietnam and the Institute Of Information Security Technology (IST)-Vietnam Information Security Institute (VNISA) to co-operate in establishing closer links in R&D, education, mutual sharing, and more.

We look forward to you joining us at this event.
