The mission of the RMIT Fintech Blockchain Competition is to promote the application of Blockchain/Fintech for university and high school students. The RMIT Fintech Blockchain Competition is an annual national competition inviting current students to propose solutions for real-world problems with Blockchain/Fintech. The competition is to promote awareness of the Blockchain/Fintech application and enhance the participants’ practical skills and knowledge in tackling real-world problems.ÌýÌý

• Round 1: Teams will submit their projects and our judges will select the best six teams (university and high-school students). These teams will be offered one-on-one mentoring by our experts to improve their projects.

• Round 2: Final project presentation. The six teams will present their projects to our judges and the best two teams (one university and one high school) will be the winners of RMIT FinTech-Blockchain Competition.

• Theme:ÌýFintech and Blockchain: Powering Better Financial Inclusion System
• We are looking for creative ideas/solutions using Blockchain/Fintech to tackle real-world problems in economics and finance towards powering a better financial inclusive system.
• Participants should consider what are the economic/financial problems that you are trying to solve, what are your proposed solutions using Blockchain/Fintech, and how can your ideas/solutions contribute to building a better financial inclusion system.

2. High School

• Theme:ÌýFintech and Blockchain Application for Building a Better Society
• We are looking for creative solutions/ideas using Blockchain/Fintech to create a better life. Any application of Blockchain/Fintech that can solve a real-world problem is welcomed.
• Participants should consider what are the economic/financial problems that you are trying to solve, what are your proposed solutions using Blockchain/Fintech, and how can your ideas/solutions contribute to building a better society.
