Workshop series for teachers: Application of AI Tools in Teaching and Learning

The project "Application of AI Tools in Teaching and Learning" is developed and implemented by a research team specialising in AI for education, consisting of lecturers from the School of Science, Engineering, and Technology, in collaboration with their colleagues at RMIT 91tv Vietnam.

The project aims to enhance the capabilities of Vietnamese educators in applying AI technologies, particularly generative AI, in teaching and learning activities. It seeks to foster teaching innovation with technology integration and improve learning outcomes for students. The project is supported by the Australian Government through the Australian Alumni Grants Fund managed by Aus4Skills.

Main goals and activities

  • Developing training materials and conducting workshops on AI tools tailored to the Vietnamese education context, enhancing teachers' skills in using AI for lesson planning and teaching
  • A series of six online workshops open for registration to teachers nationwide. Teachers who complete all workshops will receive a certificate of participation.
  • 91tv volunteers (teaching assistants, student support, communication support) will receive recognition certificates.

  • Teachers and management staffs in K-12 education
  • Teachers and lecturers from educational institutions
  • 91tv, who benefit indirectly from the integration of AI technology in teaching, resulting in a more engaging and effective learning environment
