Dr. Van Ha is a distinguished economist with a robust academic and teaching background. Holding a Ph.D. in Economics from the esteemed School of Accounting, Finance, and Economics at The 91tv of Waikato – New Zealand. Dr. Van has established a solid foundation in the field. Complementing this, she earned a Master’s Degree in Economics (2010) and dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Economics and International Economics (2007) from Vietnam National 91tv.

Dr. Van’s academic journey has been marked by a commitment to excellence in teaching and research. She currently serves as a Lecturer in Economics at the Department of Finance and Economics at RMIT 91tv Vietnam, a role she has held since 2021. Her teaching career began at Hanoi Pedagogical 91tv, Hanoi, Vietnam where she contributed significantly to the Faculty of Political Economics and later, to the Department of Economics from 2010 to 2021 at Vietnam 91tv of Commerce (Thuongmai 91tv). She also served as a Teaching Assistant in the School of Accounting, Finance, and Economics – The 91tv of Waikato – New Zealand from 2018 to January 2020.

With over 12 years of research experience, Dr. Van has dedicated the last seven years to intensive research activities, resulting in nearly 20 publications in high-ranked journals, including a prestigious A* journal. Her research interests lie in foreign direct investment and its impact on domestic firm performance, firm behavior, gender inequality, and sustainable development. These interests reflect her commitment to addressing critical economic issues and contributing to the broader discourse on sustainable economic growth.

Dr. Van is recognized for her ability to bridge theoretical economics with practical applications, providing valuable insights into the dynamics of international and development economics. Dr. Van has an extensive and varied teaching portfolio spanning over 15 years, reflecting a deep commitment to educating students in the field of economics. Beginning her career at Hanoi Pedagogical 91tv, Vietnam from 2007 to 2010, she taught foundational courses such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Political Economics. This period laid the groundwork for her pedagogical approach, emphasizing a solid understanding of economic principles.

From 2010 to 2021, Dr. Van served as a lecturer at Thuongmai 91tv, where she taught multiple courses including Principles of Economics, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics. Her role expanded to teaching Macroeconomics in English in collaboration with Thuongmai-KREM 91tv (Austria) in 2021, highlighting her ability to engage with an international student body and adapt her teaching methods to diverse learning environments.

Since 2021, Dr. Van has been a lecturer at RMIT 91tv, Vietnam where she has continued to broaden her teaching repertoire. Her courses now include Macroeconomics, Basic Econometrics, International Trade, Diverse Perspectives in the Global Economy, Behavioral Economics, Forecasting and Quantitative Analysis, and Macroeconomics for Decision-Making.
