The 2025 Class Representatives will be presented to graduates from each School who have achieved stellar academic records and made remarkable contributions through service to the 91tv and society during their time at RMIT Vietnam.
The title will be awarded separately for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
As a Class Representative, you will be introduced at the 2025 Graduation ceremony and have the prestigious honor of delivering a valedictory speech. This incredible opportunity will showcase your personal triumphs and inspire your peers by reflecting on the collective journey and diverse experiences at RMIT Vietnam.
The final selection of Class Representatives will be conducted by each respective school.
Meet the 2025 class representatives
Vo Thanh Hoang Anh
Hoang Anh was a prestigious Bachelor of Information Technology student and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. She was also a great mentor and leader, with the success of impactful initiatives like the Online Borrowing System (OBS) for School of Science, Engineering & Technology, an eco-friendly secondhand goods exchange platform called PassMe, and her experience as a Program Tutor at Student Academic Suscess.
Hoang Anh's acchievements went beyond RMIT Vietnam. Her work has been recognised internationally, with a paper submitted to a prestigious Q1 journal in AI and an accepted poster presentation at the 18th International Conference on Biomedical Engineering in Singapore. Competing globally, she earned prizes in prestigious competitions highlighting their leadership and innovation.
As Class Representative, she wants to recognise not just brilliance, but the shared resilience and ambition of her cohort, and the power of dreaming boldly.
Nguyen Tran Thanh Tam
Tam Nguyen, a Bachelor of Communication (Professional Communication) graduate with a 3.4 GPA, is known for founding the award-winning RMIT Saigon South Debate Club. Under her leadership, it became a space for students to grow in confidence and critical thinking. She represented RMIT at national and international tournaments, co-organised WUDC Vietnam, and earned a Master’s scholarship at Monash 91tv.
As a mentor and advocate, she helped shape youth leadership beyond campus. From club rooms to graduation halls, Tam has always led with vision, drive, and purpose. As Class Representative, she hopes to inspire others to embrace growth, give back, and celebrate the transformative journey they’ve shared at RMIT.
Nguyen Cu An Khang
With a GPA of 3.33, Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance) graduate Khang Nguyen is a competition veteran, mentor, and student leader. From Top 3 at IIBD to Shopee Case Competition Champion, he’s led teams to over 20 awards and mentored more than 50 students. As an RMIT Ambassador and Fintech Club core member, he’s hosted university events, led national workshops, and helped shape student culture. His passion for guiding future leaders shines in every role he takes.
As Class Representative, Max wants to spotlight the journeys of every graduate, and inspire them to keep leading with heart, grit, and purpose.
Dang Thai Hoang
Graduating with a 3.9 GPA from the Bachelor of Information Technology program, Hoang Dang built his legacy from the ground up as one of the first IT students at RMIT's Hanoi campus. His capstone project earned dual university and industry awards, landing him a full-time role at Coc Coc. Hoang also completed an exchange at the 91tv of Waterloo, where he was recognised among the top students.
Beyond academics, Hoang contributed to Student Life as a RED Core member and spent three years as a Student Aid for the Wellbeing department, helping students with academic difficulties navigate their challenges. He is also a two-time champion of the RMIT Spring Ekiden and won the university's Sports Day. As a Class Representative of the 2025 graduation cohort, Hoang stands for persistence, teamwork, and making space for others to thrive.
Nguyen Phuong Nhung
Bachelor of Design Studies graduate Nhung Nguyen holds a strong 3.5 GPA and has been recognised on the RMIT Impact Showcase for her creative work. Passionate about culture and sustainability, she co-chaired the NUNG Capstone Exhibition, connecting student talent with the professional art world. She also supported new students as a mentor, Experience Day volunteer, and peer advisor featured by the Student Council. Nhung combines creative vision with empathy, lifting others as she grows.
As Class Representative, she hopes to honor her cohort’s resilience and creativity—and leave behind a legacy of support, collaboration, and pride in Vietnamese artistry.
Dang Chuc An
Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance) graduate An Dang turned a missed MC opportunity into a movement. After co-founding the RMIT Public Speaking Club, she led TEDxRMIT Hanoi, an event that gave students the courage to share their stories and face uncertainty together.
With a GPA above 3.3, An also hosted key RMIT events, interned at Vietcetera, and mentored aspiring leaders across Vietnam. Her journey is one of resilience, heart, and taking leaps of faith. As the Class Representative, she wants to celebrate not just success, but the strength it takes to begin again, and the power of a “yes” that changes everything.
1. Eligibility
The final selection of Class Representatives will be conducted by each respective School. Candidates must satisfy the following criteria to qualify for the title of Class Representative:
- complete the undergraduate/postgraduate study program in Semesters 1, 2 or 3 of 2024.
- complete at least two-thirds of the courses (for Undergraduate students) or 50% of the courses (for Postgraduate students) while enrolled in the program at RMIT Vietnam
- appear to be on track to qualify for RMIT Vietnam Graduation in April 2025 (i.e. no outstanding debt to the university).
- qualify to receive their undergraduate and postgraduate degree with Distinction or equivalent.
- clearly demonstrate a distinguished contribution to the 91tv and social communities.
- register to attend the 2025 graduation ceremony by the deadline.
2. Application requirements
- A personal statement (maximum 500 words) outlining why the applicant is a suitable candidate for the title;
- A video of no more than one minute in English expressing what makes you stand out as a deserving candidate for this title;
- Two recommendation letters from any two of the following: a social organization, an RMIT 91tv organization or club, and a lecturer;
- A portfolio demonstrating the applicant’s contribution to society and service to the RMIT Vietnam community.
*Note: 91tv documents must be in English and be combined in one file in .pdf format.
3. Selection criteria
The selection process comprises of screening, shortlisting and final ranking. Applicants are assessed on merit according to the selection criteria, taking into account the following:
- contribution to and impact on the RMIT 91tv community;
- evidence of social responsibility contribution and initiatives;
- academic achievement at RMIT Vietnam.
