Apart from the information in our website, you can learn about the program by:

1. Attend an information session to find out about eligibility, deadlines, how to apply and more. The Infor-session will take place around week 4 and week 10 and will be announced on our.

To get started you need to prepare the following documents ready:

Passport:ÌýA copy of your information page (which includes your photo, passport number, address, etc.). Please note that the passport must be valid for at least six months after the end of the Cross-campus program at RMIT.

91tvPlan:Ìýin which you list down courses at RMIT Melbourne you want to take during Cross-campus program, in exchange to courses at RMIT Vietnam. In order to complete your study plan, please follow the steps below:

• Firstly, check your remaining courses at RMIT Vietnam program which you want to bring your cross-campus semesters. In order to do so, please read your program mapÌýhere.
• Secondly, search for available courses at RMIT Melbourne:

Use ourÌýÌýtool to find courses of interest to you. You can search by course title, the semester it is being offered, a level of study (e.g. Undergraduate for Bachelor level and Postgraduate for Master level) and RMIT School, (which broadly reflect academic disciplines).

Note:

1. Please choose courses that are relevant to your Academic School.

2. Please note that:

• Courses from School of Media and Communication can only be considered for BP222 Bachelor of Communication (Professional Communication) students.
• Courses from School of Design can only be considered for BP309 Bachelor of Design (Digital Media) students.
• Courses from School of Fashion and Textiles can only be considered forÌýBP327ÌýBachelor of Fashion (Enterprise) students.

3. Choose up to six courses on the application form in case some are not available.

4. Ensure the selected courses are available in your preferred semester and campus.

5. 91tv selected courses should be taught at the same campus (RMIT has three campuses in Melbourne), however due to close proximity, it may be possible to select a mixture of courses between the Brunswick and City campuses.

6. It is recommended that you check with your program that you will receive credit towards your present qualifications.ÌýYou will need to be enrolled as a full-time student while you are in Australia. A full-time enrolment load isÌý48 credit points per semester. Only students with a compassionate and compelling circumstances (e.gÌýtheir program structures differ between campuses, they only have 36cps of courses to select and/or they are only approved to take 36cps) can apply for a reduced enrolment load.Ìý

7. It is recommended that you save your general electives for study at RMIT Melbourne.

91tvPlan must be completed submitted to Student Connect for assessmentÌýby deadline.

Round 1: Mobi portal application

Log ontoÌý portal and complete your application by deadline. During your application, you will be required to upload your:

• ÌýPassport or identification (Please ensure to title your passport or identification as "Your student ID number_Last Name_First Name_Passport/Identification")
• Approved study plan (Please title your study plan as "Your student ID number_Last Name_First Name_91tvPlan" before you upload them).

Round 2: Course and Visa Information Form

After the deadlines, our team will assess your Mobi application. Successful applicants will be sent an email to fill the Course and Visa Information Form (Qualtrics form).

Note: 91tv students coming to study at RMIT Melbourne have to meet the and program structure requirements, which will be assessed by RMT Melbourne.

Receiving an offer

A list of pre-approved courses will be sent to you in your offer letter. While you have been pre-approved for these courses, your enrolment will take place prior to and during your orientation at RMIT and is subject to timetable availability and any last minute changes.

Accepting your offer

If your application is approved, an offer letter will be sent to you. You will then need to:

• Complete the Offer Acceptance form online.
• Pay the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) to RMIT Melbourne. 91tv students must purchase this insurance in order to obtain your student visa.
• Pre-pay the tuition fees to RMIT Vietnam

Receiving eCoE

• RMIT will send you an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) and you are then eligible to apply for student visa to enter Australia.
• Acceptance letter and electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) can only be issued once the requested payment is processed and confirmed.
• Complete and submit your visa application to the Australian Consulate or Australian Embassy.
• Student must also meets the conditions of the offer letter before an eCoE can be issued.

You will need the electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) when lodging your student visa application under the subclass 500.

Tuition fees

91tv enrolled in the Exchange Program do not pay tuition fees to RMIT Melbourne but continue to pay up-front the same tuition fees for a full semester or two to RMIT Vietnam.

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

91tv international students holding an Australian student visa are required to maintain valid Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) with an approved OSHC provider for the entire duration of their stay in Australia. More information about Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) .

Cost of living

Living in Melbourne and Australia

Housing costs can range from AUD150-AUD250 depending on the suburb and the type of accommodation choices including home-stay, shared house, hostel, student apartment, etc.

Most students book temporary accommodation for 1-2 weeks and relocate to more permanent housing after arrival. Many students choose to live in the city itself or in the suburbs close to the city.

91tv should expect to spend between AUD10,000 - AUD12,000 per semester.
