RMIT Research Challenge, also known as RRC, was established in 2017. RRC aims to provide university students with hands-on mentoring and comprehensive financial analysis skills. With the support from industry experts, participating teams of 4-5 members will play the role of a research analyst, and go through rigorous tests on their analytical, valuation, report writing and presentation skills.

This nationwide event is crafted to spark your passion for financial research and investment, empowering you to enhance your research and analytical prowess by tackling real-world financial challenges. Moreover, our participants can connect with industry leaders, forge meaningful connections, and compete for fantastic prizes. This contest is an incredible chance to gain hands-on experience and kickstart an exciting finance career!

Main event milestones include:
  1. Opening Ceremony: The Opening Ceremony is to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the RMIT Research Challenge 2025. This includes providing detailed information regarding the competition's regulations, specific events scheduled throughout the timeline, and the esteemed sponsors supporting the RRC this year, as well as presenting an overview of the numerous opportunities, knowledge, and rewards that await the contestants.
  2. Competition Rounds: Round 1 (online test), Round 2 (report), Rescue Round, Round 3 (pitching).
  3. Training Sessions: These sessions will provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the competition rounds successfully.
  4. Closing Ceremony: The final round will take place during this event, where the most outstanding participants will be recognised and celebrated for their achievements throughout the competition.
